All this to say…
…there are many great home technologies and devices that you can buy off the shelf at a big box store.
Before you know it though, your phone and your life become loaded with one app for each thing you want to control.
Because you bought all of your components separately, you may not know how to integrate everything together.
If you don’t mind opening a new app to control each individual little thing that is in your house and your life, then no problem!
However, if you want to make things actually work together (or if you’re in a hurry and need to do something quickly), then it’s much nicer to have one place where you can see and manage everything.
