Plug-in Dimming Module from Lutron (rr-3pd-1-xx)
The Plug-in dimming module from Lutron allows dimming of lights automatically or manually from any device that communicate with the Lutron system. This works like a dimmer does, but is a free-standing unit.
Let’s say your lamp is always in the on position. A dimming module can run the lamp at 30%-50% of power or dim the lamp to whatever dimmed level you would like, whether or not the lamp actually has a dimmer in it.
